Next Wave Academy (NWA) is a Cognia Accredited Micro-School in Indian River County serving youth in grades 6th to 8th. Our program enables students to accelerate and complete their core requirements through a digital platform. In addition, NWA integrates a dual language curriculum, life skills training, and electives that help build communication and transferable skills. We place a strong emphasis on creative expression, mindfulness, and consciousness.

We provide access to a wealth of resources, including professional job/interview coaching, health/wellness coaching, after-school programs, summer camps, and more. Each student’s learning strategy is based on individual academic plans developed by our multidisciplinary staff. These plans are crafted from comprehensive evaluations, previous school records, diagnostic skills assessments, observations, and continuous experiences with the student.

NWA is part of the MLMPI Prep Academy School System, which is dedicated to a multifaceted program design that meets the individual needs of each child and adult.
